Down memory lane

In todays India, Doordarshan is almost history. But I distinctly remember the popularity it once had in the 80's. Ofcourse there was no competition then. One of the things I remember is watching the numerous short cartoon clips that used to be telecasted. Some of them I can remember are, Ek anek, The tree of unity, etc. Browsing the internet I chanced upon the following lyrics and instantly it took me back in memory lane. I could almost hear a voice singing as I read it.
